A large formal unglazed rectangle in a refined rectangular design, by the 2nd generation artist of the Gyouzan kiln, Tokoname, Yuuji Nakano. (Now Retired).

This 43.7cm rectangle is made from a quality blend of tokoname clays to Gyouzan's recipe, and was hand made to an elegant yet commanding form. The pot sits on recessed feet in a stepped design, and has banding to the base, offering a more balanced feel. Over time a beautiful patina has developed.

The pot has been photographed in different light to give a true estimation of tone.
