An accomplished UK artist, Petra Engleke was a well regarded bonsai potter, married to the famous pioneer, Harry Tomlinson of Greenwoods Nursery, U.K. Her have proven to be increasingly desirable.

This is an older 18.3cm round pot in a classic design and excellent layered aged-looking glaze. The pot has curved walls, and the base is nicely finished and left unglazed, which contrasts beautifully with the glaze above. Please note the lack of feet. The body is finished in a layered glaze, with a thick drippy lighter green, applied over a darker Olive green base glaze.

This is an older, pre-loved pot. Petra Engelke sadly passed away in 2019, but her works remain increasingly appreciated and sought after.

In very good condition.
