Alex & the EBPC Potters!
A stunning round bonsai pot, expertly formed from a white stoneware clay, in a lava and dirty pink glazed finish.
The pot was expertly slab built to this design, with walls that wrap around with an obvious join at on point. The pot is decorated in a textured lava effect to the base of the pot and it sits proudly on four recessed feet. The main body is finished in a superb dirty pink crackle glaze.
The artist stamped the pot with the original Stone Monkey stamp.
Andrew Pearson's work is highly sought after and he was the first-ever Westerner to enter and to win the Gafu-ten pot contest with his unglazed works.
