A beautifully made round bonsai pot, in black clay and a magnificent 'Black Ochre' glaze'

A bright green glaze with more matte ochre and black parts

This beautiful pot was hand thrown on a potters wheel to this classic design, with recessed foot ring, and arch cut feet. The 'Black Ochre' glaze gives particularly interesting effects. On black earth it can be bright green but also orange-beige to matte black. An enamel that of course can highlight hardwoods but that we also offer for junipers or pine trees with particularly interesting results. Stamped by the artist.
