Peter Krebs - 2018 made oval in a deeper oval design and superb running glaze.

A deeper design oval with banding detail, finished in a beautiful glaze in natural tones of Olive green and brown.

This medium sized oval has a generous planting depth and an admirable form. The walls gently curve out to a lip at the rim, and the lower body is furnished with banding in relief, which visually reduces the pot's depth.

Undeniably one of the most influential and highly regarded of Europe's bonsai potters, Peter Krebs was a pioneering artist and his work has always been greatly influenced by the Antique Chinese pottery that is so revered in bonsai ceramics.

External measurements: 32cm x 26.7cm x 9.2cm.

In excellent condition, unsure whether it has ever been used.
