An outstanding 24cm mokko shaped pot in a 'Steam Punk' design, decorated with copper-plate effect coverings over a superb crystalline blue glaze.

This artistic piece really pushes the boundaries of what is acceptable in bonsai design, with a bold 'steampunk' design that some would deem overly 'hade'. European bonsai is currently testing those boundaries, yet few daring creations are made as well as this! The pot is expertly built, in a mokko shape, with corroding copper plates, nailed into place, that have an incredible level of realism. The pot sits on trotter style feet, and this creation is detailed even to the drainage holes, which are seemingly rubber portholes

This is the only replica in existence of O Yaku's celebrated Trophy 2024 entry, which is currently in the hands of one of Europe's well known bonsai artists who created 'Cosmic Bonsai Style'. The artist believed this style of pot would suit his Cosmic Style perfectly, so snatched up the Trophy for for an exciting upcoming collaboration! (watch this space!)
