A 15.5cm mokko shaped pot, finished in a beautiful crystalline glaze.

This well made shohin pot has a bold yet delicate design, with a great glaze and excellent attention to detail. The pot has sculpted and stained recessed feet, a subtle basal band and a complimenting lip to the rim.

The finished is a beautiful glaze, in an off white, with crystal formations in pink and lilac tones.

Shay Cohen entered the prestigious Gafu-ten 2025 - pot contest this year. The 3 pots he exhibited were selected from this wider range that he made for the Gafu-ten. For his trio of pots in this same mokko style and crystalline glaze, O Yaku was commended with an 'encouragement award'. Congratulations Shay!
