A shohin sized, mokko shaped pot, finished in a beautiful crystalline glaze.

This well made shohin pot has a bold yet delicate design, with a great glaze and excellent attention to detail. The pot has a generous planting depth, sculpted and stained feet, banding to the base, and a complimenting lip to the rim.

The finished is an exquisite crystalline glaze, in tones of cream and biscuit.

Shay Cohen entered the prestigious Gafu-ten 2025 - pot contest this year. The 3 pots he exhibited were selected from this wider range that he made for the Gafu-ten. For his trio of pots in this same mokko style and crystalline glaze, O Yaku was commended with an 'encouragement award'. Congratulations Shay!
