A low root stand made from quality Iroka hardwood, beautifully finished with an oil & wax, to a high standard. Comes with a bespoke protective box.

This beautifully made 28cm root stand was meticulously hand carved from quality Iroka hardwood, and has a refined design, with a flat, highly polished platform, elevated over a network of interconnecting root-like feet.

The stand has been rigorously buffed to bring out the exquisite natural grain of the wood, and the piece has been oil and wax finished to a high standard. The stand comes with a protective plywood box with motif.

Iroko is a hardwood that comes from trees native to the western coast of tropical Africa. With a characteric golden-brown colour, alluring grain structure and superb outdoor durability, Iroko shares very close resemblance to Teak — indeed, it has even earned the nickname 'African Teak'.
