Koyo - 1st Generation. Aiba Kouichirou; Tokoname, Japan
This 15.1cm mokko shaped shohin pot, is hand-signed, as well as stamped with both the Koyo and the Ginko stamps, representing the deceased artist Koyo’s finest quality range.
The pot has an easily useable design, in a gentle mokko shape, which is not as deep as most, and without the lip. The pot is finished in a beautiful Kinyo light blue glaze, which on close inspection is quite intricate.
Hand signed, and stamped with both the Koyo and the Ginko stamps.
External measurements: (Max) 15.1cm x 12.4cm x 3.7cm.
Made by: Aiba Kouichirou (Koyo), founder of the Koyo kiln 鴻陽陶園, Tokoname, Japan.
