Kamereon Pots - Spain.

A rectangular bonsai pot, in an enviable design, exquisitely painted with lake and landscape scenes.

The shibui design of this cut corner rectangle includes gently flared walls, a lip to the rim and superb delicate recessed feet.

The pot is hand-painted to all sides, with magnificently intricate landscape depictions in sumi-e (black ink), set within mokko shaped frames. The paintings are highly detailed and emotive, with thin brush strokes, good depth and excellent use of negative space. Side panels are expertly painted with Japanese seigaiha wave patterns that signifies peace and good luck. The rim is also painted, in a Greek key style pattern.

Made from frost-resistant stoneware clay. The pot is stamped by the artist, and with the EBPC mark of quality.

Included is a protective box made from quality red cedar, and a turmeric cloth, both also stamped by the artist.
