Kamereon Pots - Spain.

An oval stoneware bonsai pot, hand-made and painted with exquisite Koi Carp motifs.

This delightful pot is well constructed in an elegant 'bellied oval' form and is superbly decorated. With sculpted feet, subtly suggestive of the ocean, and a sometsuke painted background in a Japanese-style wave pattern, the scene is set for the main theme.

Both fronts feature depictions of Koi Carp swimming amongst lily pads. Painted with meticulous care, and each set in elegant framed panels, the detailed paintings are emotive and capture the serenity of the scene.

Made from frost-resistant stoneware clay. The pot is stamped by the artist, and with the EBPC mark of quality.

Included is a protective box made from quality red cedar, and a turmeric cloth, both also stamped by the artist.
