An exquisite hand made bonsai pot, in a hexagonal form, painted with landscape scenes.

This shohin sized pot enjoys a refined hexagonal form, with a lip to the rim and elegant sculpted feet. Set within formal frames, are 3 exquisitely painted sansei / landscapes scenes. With a high level of detail, and in impressively thin brush strokes, the scenes enjoy excellent use of shading and negative space, giving a wonderful feeling of depth and movement. Equally finely painted geometric 'fan' patterns adorn the panels between, and the feet and rim are also finely hand painted.

Made from frost-resistant stoneware clay. The pot is stamped by the artist, and with the EBPC mark of quality.

Included is a protective box made from quality red cedar, and a turmeric cloth, both also stamped by the artist.
