An 18.5cm rectangle in an excellent refined design, finished in an outstanding multilayered tenmoku and ruri glaze.

This beautifully crafted piece has an elegant design, with walls flaring out to the rim, and complimentary outward-pointing sculpted feet. The dual-fronted finish is an excellent thick, drippy multilayered glaze. The underglaze is a dark brown/black with lighter speckles, and over this, is marbled with a thick cobalt blue ruri glaze. Applied with a pointed brush, the blue was strongly influenced by the underglaze, which is how this somewhat metallic effect was created.

An excellent piece, stamped with the marks of both the maker and of the EBPC.
