An iconic artist, Ian Baillie was one of the earliest of the celebrated UK bonsai potters and his pots have proven to be increasingly desirable.

This is an older 35cm round pot in nanban like design and exquisite aged-looking finish. To the lower body, the pot is finished in a reddish-brown oxide and above, a complementary glaze in a antique cream looking glaze.

This is an older, pre-loved pot. Ian Baillie is still making pots, although less, and remains one of the U.K.'s leading bonsai potters.

In very good condition.

Hand-signed (underneath) and stamped (inside) by the artist.
