Alex & the EBPC Potters!
Ian Baillie (EBPC Member artist), Scotland.
An iconic artist, Ian Baillie was one of the earliest of the celebrated UK bonsai potters and his pots have proven to be increasingly desirable.
This is an older 23.7cm round pot in a great drum style design and exquisite aged-looking glaze. The planting depth is generous, and the drum design has a double basal band and studs. The pot sits on recessed feet in a reddish brown oxide finish, and the body is dressed in an impressive glaze with muted turquoise blues amongst charcoal grey - with an excellent aged feel.
This is an older, pre-loved pot. Ian Baillie is still making pots, although less, and remains one of the U.K.'s leading bonsai potters.
In very good condition.
Hand-signed and stamped by the artist - both inside and underneath..
