Ian Baillie Bonsai Pot

A good-sized hand-thrown semi-cascade style pot with a superb glaze and excellent finish.

The pot has an incised basal band and sits on recessed feet. The feet are finished in a dark oxide wash, which contrasts beautifully with the captivating light green glaze. The glaze has intricate but subtle browns and greens over a cream glaze, which gives that aged feeling to the pot. A superb useable pot, and/or collector's piece.

Hand-signed by the artist, and stamped with the logos: 'IB', 'EBPC', and 'Scotland'.

External measurements: 15.2cm (l) x 7.9cm (h).
