Alex & the EBPC Potters!
Hattori Tomoyuki, Tokoname, Japan.
Made from a dappled brown/orange clay is this wonderful shohin rectangle with banding, by the famous Hattori Tomoyuki.
The pot has a wonderful celadon green glaze with a slight crackle, and blood red dripping from the rim, in parts almost black. The glaze crack, which I zoomed in on near the corner, is just a glaze feature, it is not a penetrating crack. Great tones for many deciduous trees.
Hand signed by the maker.
