Gyouzan – Yuuji Nakano.

An unglazed pot in a flared rectangle design, made by the second generation of the Gyouzan kiln, Yuuji Guouzan.

This elegant yet commanding pot was made from a high quality blend of clay and is very useable in its design, with a generous planting depth, banding to the base and elegant stepped feet.

Yuuji Gyouzan retired from pot making and no longer produces. His works are now quite collectable.

In excellent condition.
