Alex & the EBPC Potters!
Eddie Curtis, England.
A dynamic freeform pot in a rugged and highly detailed lithic finish, made by the highly acclaimed studio potter, Eddie Curtis.
Born from a love of bonsai, and a lifetime mastering studio pottery, this rare larger sized freeform rectangle was expertly created and finished, abundant in character. The remarkable rugged, seemingly lithic aesthetic was achieved through meticulous sculptural work and the application of multiple textural and glaze techniques.
Using a variety of methods to create the varied textured surfaces, the artist has given the pot a tactile and very natural look.
With a generous planting depth, excellent movement, and rugged finish, the pot would suit perfectly a variety of conifers and other trees with masculine features.
Stamped by the artist.
