Alex & the EBPC Potters!
Eddie Curtis, England.
A dynamic freeform pot in a rugged and highly detailed lithic finish, made by the highly acclaimed studio potter, Eddie Curtis.
Born from a love of bonsai, and a lifetime mastering studio pottery, this shohin+ sized rectangle was expertly formed and simply oozes with character. The remarkable rugged, seemingly lithic aesthetic was achieved through meticulous sculptural work and the application of multiple textural techniques.
Using a variety of methods to create the varied textured surfaces, the artist has given the pot a tactile and very natural look.
With a generous planting depth, excellent movement, and rugged finish, the pot would suit perfectly a variety of conifers and other trees with masculine features.
Stamped by the artist.
