A distinguished round cascade pot with an elegant yet organic multi- glazed finish, by the highly acclaimed studio potter, Eddie Curtis.

Born from a love of bonsai, and a lifetime mastering studio pottery, this round shohin / kifu sized pot was hand-thrown to this formal cascade design. The pot has integrated feet in a dark oxide finish, and a rounded rim.

The artist used a variety of glaze techniques, in addition to slip and paste applications, to create the exquisite varied surfaces, which gives the pot a tactile and organic look. A beautiful juxtaposition of elegance and a more rugged, organic aesthetic - with salmon pink, celadon green, and a fine crackle effect, against subtle scorching, and dark tones of blood-red and charcoal green.
