Dragonfly Bonsai Pots. ( トンボ - tonbo)

A 33cm oval with a fantastic crackle glaze in pink-blush on antique cream.

The beautifully formed piece was made with a light brown groggy clay and has great proportions. The pot has a simple yet effective design, and sits on unglazed, recessed feet and is finished in quite a special glaze. A soft hue of pink-blush comes through the antique cream crackle glaze, more in some areas, and there are also thicker streaks of cream to other areas, giving texture to one front. A great piece that would enhance a variety of deciduous trees. Stamped with the 'Dragonfly' and 'トンボ' stamps.

External measurements: 33.1cm (l) x 25.3cm x 6.5cm (h).
