Made by one of Europe’s most high acclaimed, pioneering bonsai potters, Dan Barton of England, this large pot was designed with a slight twist on the traditional, and boasts an exquisite organic feel finish.

The pot has a similar form to a nanban, but with a modern twist. The lip detail, set just below the rim is a great detail, and also suggests less height visually. Below this, the body has a nice texture meticulously added, which is formalized by recessed banding beneath. Formal recessed feet and a rope design rim detail add an air of tradition, and the rusty reds and charcoal tones in the finish are ideal for a variety of tree species.
