A rare glazed and decorated raku plate, made by and from the collection of famous U.K. bonsai ceramist: Bryan Albright.

This display plate has a rustic square design, and is decorated with an incised leaf, and glazed. The piece sits on 2 strip feet and the soft yellow glaze compliments the organic aesthetic of this unique piece.

See pictures for the hairline crack to one corner, which finishes at the foot junction. Raku ware is not frost resistant in any case, and this wonderful piece can still be enjoyed and used if with care.

This early Bryan Albright piece is stamped by the maker.
