Alba Koyo - Tokoname, Japan. (Not an EBPC member)

An older 35cm oval in an exquisite antique cream crackle glaze oozing with patina.

This beautiful vintage glazed oval was made from Koyo’s earlier black clay by the famous Aiba Koyo, the now-retired 1st generation artist from the Koyo kiln. The pot has a beautiful cream crackle glaze which has been softened by patina over decades of use.

This is an older pre-loved pot, in excellent condition. Aiba Koyo is now retired and was one of Tokoname’s leading bonsai ceramists. His works are now increasingly collectible.
